This is our simplest bar yet. But don’t let simple fool you. This is Castille soap in bar form. Just olive oil, goat milk and lye. The lather is delicate and still gets you clean. It is less sudsy than our other bars and the bubbles feel different, almost clingy. There are no colorants or fragrances.
This bar is named for someone who was gentle and delicate and unfortunately, died too young. Emily was a sweet college student who impressed upon me as a brash middle schooler that gentleness and sweetness didn’t need to be devoid of personality.
Ingredients from greatest weight to least:
Olive oil, Goat milk, sodium hydroxide.
